totally! whats up with passive warwick sound??? sounds like he should be playing in a bad funk band!. Stick to the SG bass and the towering marshall full stacks.... if ya got the means then why the hell not? |

well he was running his bass through a wall of marshall bass and guitar amps turned up full blast. i think his tone here is good but its great in the CREAM REUNION DVD. especially during BORN UNDER A BAD SIGN |

Well, Just my own personal opinion; You don't need to play any instrument to know what you like though!
I just love his old tone in Cream, the raw, distorted, gritty fuzz tone he had; Listen to Deserted Cities of the Heart from the Second Live Album; During Claptons Solo Bruce plays like mad! :) |

@Nevarrus You think so? You obviously know your bass, but I thought his tone was spot on. I'll defer to your better knowledge as I play bass, but not like Jack or John :) |

God.
What the F*CK happend to Jacks tone he had in his old SG?
Jack is no doubt one of my absolute favorite bassist (If not my favorite along with John Entwistle); But his tone is just pure crap here.
Awful to hear.. |

your actually a dope 19truth53
i have a hard time believing you have a son when your acting like such a child, this jam (essentially) is unbelievable.
it takes some musician to be able to go up & jam on the spot, knowing/not knowing the song doesn't have anything to do with technical ability.
do you actually have any positives to say about this video?
maybe you should watch when Bela Fleck & Rory jammed onstage for 10 minutes in france, THEN come & comment on Rorys ''bad'' playing |

shatnershairpiece .. have to disagree. this is my favorite politician . if you don't like Rory's performance close your eyes, his guitar will speak for its self. plus I thought jack gave him some admiring looks |

I love Rory but his playing here is really irritating and uninspired. The drinking was really taking it's toll. Jack is walking all over him. Jack and a drummer is all you need. I couldn't believe that Rory had to ask him how the song goes. |
